Backstory of this project #tayawthinou; Our mothers and grandmothers are the last generations with facial and body tattoos for beauty, health and protection. This tradition is quickly disappearing due to tradition and the cultural dynamics. The ancient tradition of Amazigh tattoos is quickly disappearing as the elderly women of today are the final carriers of the symbols. But I wanna keep it alive with this project.
